People came by the K&N Booth all morning in anticipation of the event. When it
was time to take the cover off, there was standing room only. The crowd made a
collective gasp and some people applauded when they saw the beautiful gray,
chrome and red Corvette. “There is always an anxiety when you debut a car,” said
Art Morrison. “Other car builders saw it and said they are glad I’m not
officially a car builder. That was a huge compliment.”
Art Morrison’s wife, Jeanette Morrison was choked up. “It’s emotional to think
about the unveiling at SEMA,” she said. “I know how much work my husband and son
Craig put into the car, along with everyone else. It’s great to see my husband’s
Art Morrison Enterprises wanted the Vet to stand out. “There are so many silver
Vets,” said Jon Byers of Byers Custom Paint. “We wanted it to be darker, a
unique blend that compliments the chrome and the red interior.”

Boyd Coddington from Discovery's American Hot Rod TV show built the wheels for the Corvette. “It has a
C-6 Suspension and I made sure the offsets were positive,” he said. “It is a
two-piece billet that looks like a 3-piece.”
Coddington also uses K&N Products on his vehicles. “K&N makes a very good
variety of products,” he said.
Art and Craig Morrison were on hand to answer questions about the Vet during the
day. The Morrison family along with K&N Engineering employees were busy answering questions from the crowd.
