Henry Ford believed “a business that makes nothing but money is a poor business.” There is an inherent responsibility and duty, as a business owner, to leave a positive impact within society. Henry Ford wasn’t in the business of making money - he was in the business of people and service. His lifelong dedication to technology and ability to think outside of the box, set the foundation for Ford to become one of the most successful organizations in the world. From the release of the model T in 1908 to the newly designed vehicles of modern day, Ford Motor Company is continuing to evolve and expand their product line to incorporate new technologies within the automotive industry. The 2013 and 2014 Ford Taurus and Ford Flex are great examples of this evolutionary process.

K&N has introduced the 77-2576KTK air intake system, giving owners of 2013 and 2014 Ford Flex and Ford Taurus models the opportunity to add some oomph to their engine. The 77-2576KTK is a mandrel-bent aluminum intake, with a powdered counted black finish, that will help minimize airflow restriction, all while providing excellent filtration. There is a heat shield attached to the intake which shelters incoming air from engine heat. The additional and cooler air that is brought into the engine, means increased power and guaranteed horsepower gains. Testing on the dyno showed an estimated gain of 13.2 horsepower at 5698 rpm.

The 77-2576KTK performance intake system is reusable and washable, and can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed, depending on driving conditions. It is easy to install and can be done in 90 minutes or less with common tools. It’s also backed by K&N’s famous Million Mile Limited Warranty so owners have the peace of mind that the 77-2576KTK will last the life of their vehicle.

Ford has been around for over a century and it doesn’t look like they are going anywhere, anytime soon. They are a solid company and just like K&N are committed to bringing forward innovation and inventions that will transform and enlighten your everyday driving experience.
