Jeremy Campbell Motorsports visited Chico, California for the first time to compete in the prestigious Gold Cup Race of Champions. A few last minute changes on the car resulted in a poor qualifying run.

Campbell was 32nd out of some 60 cars. He fought his way up to a transfer spot in the heat race and was able to work his way from 22nd to 12th in the A-Feature. Overall, he did not have enough points to qualify for the A Saturday night.

The racer had a strong run in the stacked B-Main Saturday but was not able to make it up to a transfer spot.

Campbell hopes to have better luck on his return to Eagle Raceway. The sprint car racer recorded two top fives earlier this season on the 1/3 mile, high banked oval.

Jeremy Campbell Motorsports uses K&N products on its sprint cars. “Our K&N Engineering Filters work great all the time,” said Campbell. “Our engines stay clean and work well on the tracks. I use both K&N Air and Oil Filters on my cars.”
