K&N Engineering, Inc. has made a 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit (63-3061) for the 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer 6.0 liter V8.

K&N test have shown a horsepower gain of 18.18 @ 5330 RPM with the 63-3061 Intake Kit. "We were able to get such good horsepower because the original factory airbox is restrictive," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "The design of the K&N Intake Tube and placement of the mass air sensor and is a big reason why we were able to get so much power."

K&N's 63 Series (63-3061) uses a Round Tapered Universal Air Filter (RF-1032) that can fit into the engine compartment using factory holes and mounting points. It takes less than an hour to install this kit and the lifetime K&N Air Filter performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving conditions. "We used the chrome top on the filter to add to the appeal of the Trailblazer," said Heck. "It's a very straight forward installation." Take a look at our 63-3061 installation video to see all the steps involved.
