World of Outlaws points leader Donny Schatz and the ParkerStore Team never give up. After a tough second place finish on Friday night at Eldora Speedway, Schatz returned to victory lane on Saturday night at K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio.

That was the 11th “A” Feature win for the Fargo, North Dakota racer this season and marked the seventh time this year when Schatz followed up a runner-up finish with a victory in his next race.

“It feels great to be in victory lane again,” said Schatz, after his 46th career World of Outlaws “A” feature victory and second consecutive triumph at the 1/3 mile dirt oval. “You’ve got to be patient in these types of races and after Friday night where I felt like I let one get away, we did all the right things to end up in first place on Saturday.”

Schatz qualified his No. 15 ParkerStore J&J at seven in a field of 24 cars and finished fourth in both his heat race and the dash event. In the 40-lap feature, he quickly worked his way into the second position by passing Daryn Pittman. On lap 8, Schatz pulled even with leader Dale Blaney, but could not get by for the lead. The two waged a strong battle until Schatz got by for the lead on turn 17.

Schatz and the ParkerStore Team use K&N Engineering products. “There can be a lot of debris that can hurt your motor,” said Schatz. “With our K&N Sprint Car Airbox we’re confident that we’re getting maximum airflow to produce the highest performance.”

The victory was exactly what the team was hoping for as they head to Iowa for the 46th annual Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway.

“There is nothing better than going into Knoxville with a win,” said Schatz. “It’s going to be tough on everyone, but to have this feeling for the next couple of days helps.
