The 2006 Honda Civic SiR was selected as car of the show for SEMA (The Specialty
Equipment Market Association) 2005. K&N Engineering, Inc. had a very special
2006 K&N Civic SiR inside the 2006 L.A. Auto Show. The car was modified by K&N
Employees from a stock Honda to a show car.
K&N's unique Civic had powertrain modifications consisting of K&N's Custom
Typhoon Intake System, K&N's Carbon Canister High Flow Air Filter and K&N's
Performance Gold Air Filter.
The new eight-generation Civic compact is longer, wider and slightly shorter
than the 2005 model. The VTEC four is good under the hood for 197 horsepower at
7,800 rpm. K&N's replacement air filters are designed to increase horsepower and
