Boni had an eighth place result which matched his career high record. Adams took seventeenth.

“Both riders had impressive race results despite weather problems that cancelled the second set of practices,” said Jill Lengyel of Rockstar Energy Hart and Huntington. “During qualifying Boni scored fourth in heat two and Adams got seventh which put them in the main event.”

Boni is now in the lead for the pro privateer challenge that is awarded to the top non factory rider in the AMA series. Boni is 11th overall in points in the AMA Supercross Series and Adams is 22nd.

“We’re happy that our guys are riding great right now,” said Team Manager Kenny Watson. “We set out to prove that we’re here to mix it up with the top teams and I think we’ve done that.”

Rockstar Hart & Huntington are running prototype designs of K&N’s XStream Series Air filters for their 2009 Honda CRF450s. K&N provides Hart & Huntington optimum air flow for additional horsepower on the track.
