Ferderer went 5 rounds out of 7 at the CARQUEST Auto Parts NHRA Winternationals in Pomona. He also lost by only a thousandth of a second in Arizona at Checker Schuck’s Kragan NHRA Nationals.

“The quality of K&N oil and air filters is excellent,” said Ferderer. “Some of my engines cost about $35,000 and I use K&N products. The fact that the K&N air filters are also reusable is really cool. It’s a good thing for the environment as far as I’m concerned.”

In 2003 NHRA Super Gas competition, Ferderer was second in the world and won the Division 7 Championship. In 2002 at the 42nd Annual K&N Filters Winternationals he won Super Comp. “I ran my 2003 Pontiac Grand-Am with a K&N hood scoop air filter,’ said Ferderer. “The custom made K&N piece helped me pick up a mile-and-a-half an hour during the one day race.”
