Corvette Racing runs a special K&N Engineering air filter. “Dirt is a huge problem in street races,” said Crew Chief Dan Binks. “K&N protects our engines.”

“There is a huge Corvette following in Southern California,” said driver Johnny O’Connell. “It’s very special to let them see the Corvette C6.Rs in their last GT1 race in the United States. Over the years we’ve had great battles and rivalries with Viper, Ferrari, Saleen, Maserati and Aston Martin, but now we’re moving on to an even more competitive arena on the world stage.”
