Primax Wheel 2005 Subaru WRX Sti to be on Display at Hot Import Nights Show
The Primax Wheel Company showcased its specially modified 2005 Subaru WRX Sti at the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The colors and style were based on Subaru’s World Rally Championship (WRC) competition team cars in Europe.
The Primax Wheel Company designs tuner style wheels at its warehouse in Rancho Cucamonga, California.
They also make wheels with machined faces and machined lips for small compact and mid-sized vehicles.

“We buy a different vehicle for our booth at the SEMA Show every year,” said Mike Chu of Primax Wheels. “It took nearly four months to put this
2005 Subaru together and a lot of people stopped by our booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center to take a look at it.”
The modifications include:
WRC front end
AIT RACING CF hood
Dunlop 235-25-18 tires
XXR 18x8.5 Gold Wheels
MEGAN RACING Suspension
Custom CF spoiler
WRC roof vent Defi gauges
“We also put a K&N air intake system under the hood,” said Chu. “It was the only modification we made on the engine. K&N makes a great turbo sound and there is also a noticeable increase in power. The K&N air intake system fits great and works great with the Subaru.”
Primax Wheels parent company is in Taiwan, and it distributes wheels for companies in the United States from its California warehouse. The modified Subaru will be on display again at the Hot Import Nights Show in Los Angeles, California on March 14, 2009.
