He made it through six rounds of eliminations to earn his fifth Ironman of the season. Beard’s 1980 Plymouth Volare is powered by a Mopar 360 Magnum crate motor and tips the scales at 3600 pounds. “We continue to use K&N performance gold oil filters and K&N air filters not only on our race cars, but also on our tow vehicles,” said Beard. “K&N gives us performance, reliability and unbeatable gas mileage for cost effectiveness on and off the track.”

Beard will compete at the IHRA World Finals at Rockingham Dragway in North Carolina. He plans to defend his top 5 standing in World Super Stock Points.
