Ford Ranger is Modified Supertruck Tuff Truck in 4X4 Wheel Drive Jamboree Nationals
The K&N Filters Mickey Thompson Supertruck Tuff Truck took first place at the biggest 4X4 Jamboree of the year. Mark Noto beat all the odds for the fourth year in a row and claimed victory again in the 4X4 Wheel Drive Jamboree Nationals at the Indianapolis, Indiana State Fair grounds.

“Noto has a 2004 modified Ford Ranger with a 1968 Bronco frame. His Tuff Truck has 14 inch nitrogen shocks and a custom chassis roll cage. Its fiberglass body has a 408 Windsor Ford engine.

“We raced on a short course,” said Noto. “It was a figure eight style with an asphalt track and dirt jumps that were about three feet high.” Noto had to push his Tuff Truck hard to make the jumps, sometimes five to seven feet in the air. “The front jump is the easiest,” he said. “The landing always feels like you are about to go end-over-end.”
Noto started racing in New York in 1999 and has been attending jamborees since 2001. He also competes in the 4 X 4 SCORR (Short Course Off Road Racing) Western New York Series.
“K&N air filters are the best filters I’ve ever run,” said Noto. “I’ve noticed a huge improvement on the power since day one with K&N.”
