President’s Award for Electronic Data Excellence was awarded to K&N Filters for the second year in a row.
The award was presented by both the National Catalog Managers Association and
Advance Auto Parts.
K&N was selected from a group of nearly one hundred and fifty vendors that
supply electronic data to Advance Auto Parts. K&N was recognized because of its commitment to consistent and accurate data supplied to the Automotive
Aftermarket Industry Association or AAIA database.

“We selected K&N for the award based on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness,”
Bob Rogers, Director of Electronic Product Configuration for Advance Auto Parts,
said. “K&N is always responsive and timely with our product requests.”
K&N Filters is no stranger to its customers when it comes to accurate data.
"K&N has developed a system to map new vehicle applications and product numbers electronically and
correct any discrepancies within 24 hours of any posting on the AAIA
database. This allows our customers to have access to the most up to date
accurate data that we can provide,” Ken Shern, a K&N Engineering software
developer, said. “Our automated notification process also allows us to provide data
feeds to our customers in a very consistent manner.”
K&N has become an industry leader in terms of product data available to its
customers and all of that work is paying off, both in accolades and sales
reputation. “Its good to see all of the results of our hard work,” Tamra
Bradley, a K&N project application coordinator, said. “In the end it really is
all about hard work and accuracy.
