Wilke-PAK Motorsports owns the USAC national midget with a 4 cylinder Gary Stanton engine powered by Mopar and driven by Jerry Coons Jr. It weighs around 900 pounds and puts out 385 hp. “We have been a family team since the 1930s,” said Chris Wilke. “We use K&N Engineering products because we get better filtration and horsepower. We also used K&N filters long before we were sponsored by K&N.”

Coons will also try to move up in the ranks in the Badger Midget Series at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He is currently in 5th place overall.

The team will also attend the 27th annual Firemans’ Nationals presented by Pepsi. In 2007, Coons won one of midget racing’s most prestigious events for the team. If he wins in 2008, he will get a first place purse of $15,000.
