K&N has released a new performance air intake system (69-2022TS) for the 2007 Mini Cooper with a 1.6 liter engine and the 2008 Mini Cooper with a 1.6 liter engine. By replacing your factory air intake assembly with K&N's air intake kit your engine will get more air with less restriction. This means more power and torque when you need it.

The 69-2022TS uses a conical shaped chrome top high-flow air filter and a powder coated silver intake tube designed to improve the air path from the filter to the motor. The aluminum heat shield protects the K&N washable and reusable air filter from engine heat for additional performance. The K&N air filter performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving conditions.

Simply remove the intake snorkel from the resonator box on your Mini Cooper then remove the complete air box assembly and replace it with the K&N air intake assembly. The 69-2022TS does not fit U.S. vehicles. It can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less. It is also backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
