Team ACP Rally exploded into the top ranks in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV in 2002. Comrie-Picard earned both the Canadian Open Class Title and Rookie of the Year honors. He is the only driver to have earned both titles in one season.

Years later, Team ACP Rally is known as regular podium contenders in the United States and Canada. In 2006 Team ACP Rally had the only Mitsubishi car invited to enter the first X Games Rally Car race. In 2007, the team introduced its brand new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX and took second overall in the North American championship.

As the number one qualifier with the most points in the North American Championship series, team ACP Rally has earned its third consecutive invitation to the X-Games in 2008.

“I do a lot of mental preparation and course visualization,” said Comrie-Picard. “I’ve been known to fall asleep on the start line. I relax before every race. I think it’s a conditional response because I’ve been racing since I was a kid.”

Jen Horsey will be co-driving the NOS Energy Drink Mitsubishi EVO for this year’s X-Games. Horsey has experience in the co-driver’s seat and a modern-class win at the internationally renowned Targa Newfoundland Rally. Horsey is also Comrie-Picard’s partner.

“Our relationship is personal and professional,” said Comrie-Picard. “Having Jen in the car is like having additional leverage. Any driver and co-driver relationship is close. We get the most out of each other and there are no punches to pull. We are both consumed by the sport.”

Team ACP Rally uses K&N Engineering products on their vehicles. “I’ve used K&N since I began rally racing ten years ago,” said Comrie-Picard. “We compete under tough conditions, with dust, mud and water splashes. We do the most extreme things we can do in a car and K&N is the perfect formula for our turbo charged motors. There is no compromise with K&N.”

Comrie-Picard is only one of four rally drivers to score an invitation in each of the X-Games. Team ACP Rally will most certainly be a force on the track.
