K&N Sponsored Wicked Racing Boat Fastest in U.S Sprint Boat Series
Wicked Racing is dominating the Super Modified Class in the United States Sprint Boat Racing Association Series. Their No.10 K&N sponsored Wicked Racing boat is also the fastest jet sprint boat in all the classes on the water.

“All of the bigger classes have one goal at the races,’ said Wicked Racing Team Driver Dan Morrison. “That is to beat our team.” Near Albany, Oregon, the competition took on Morrison but failed to beat him.

“We hit that throttle in Oregon and that was it,” said Morrison. “This was the second race in a row the No. 10 K&N Wicked Racing boat won the Super Modified Class and was also the fastest boat of the day in all three classes.” Wicked Racing also dominated in all of the classes at Webb’s Slough in St. John, Washington two weeks
Morrison has a NASCAR motor in a super light weight crank. “The motor is strong enough to run at 8500 rpm’s all day,” he said. “We keep it down to 7000 rpm’s or our jet pumps loose efficiency.” The fans can watch sprint boat racing within 70 to 100 feet of the track. When the K&N No.10 Wicked Racing boat takes off, they hear and feel the roar.
Wicked Racing is now 26 points ahead of the former champion. “We beat the fastest boats in the series,” said Morrison. “No one is quicker than we are. K&N air and oil filters are a vital part in getting to the Winner’s Circle. We put our engine on the dyno with K&N and it’s the only way to go. We noticed an increase in power.”
The next event will be in St. John, Washington at Webb’s Slough.
