Volkswagen Golf V Models Gain Power with K&N Typhoon Air Intake System
The Volkswagen Golf V has been one of the most popular compact cars in Europe for more than 20 years. It replaced the Beetle in Volkswagen's model lineup and remains near the top of its compact category throughout the world.
K&N Engineering has designed a Typhoon air intake system (69-9754TS) in powder coated silver for the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Volkswagen Golf V 2.0 liter engine with 150 BHP. The low maintenance finish gives this K&N system an OE appearance.

Along with good looks comes additional performance for the engine. The mandrel bent tube has a fitting to allow the use of the factory air temperature sensor. The K&N lifetime replacement air filter is attached to the short-ram K&N air intake system for a cold air kit that draws fresh air from under the air dam of the Golf. The K&N
chrome top air filter also comes with a K&N Drycharger which works as a water repellant.
The air intake's air filter provides virtually unrestricted airflow and superior filtration. Washable and reusable, this K&N air filter can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required.
The 69-9754TS has lower restriction than the factory air box, is designed to improve engine performance and is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. An illustrated
instruction sheet is included to help guide you through each step.
The entire air intake system is covered by K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.
