Crump showed a return to his best championship racing form by sweeping through the heats with four wins and then backing it up with a win in the semi-final. “He is arguably the gutsiest speedway rider in the world,” said Roy Stone, Crump’s Media Relations Manager. “He pushed wide on the first turn of the final and never looked back.” Polish veteran Tomasz Gollob held the lead to the finish line for his second Grand Prix win of the year.

“First place would have been better,” said Crump. “I am pleased with my overall performance. I rode better in Copenhagen than I have for a long time and had a good time doing it.”
Crump, a 16-time Grand Prix winner, has used K&N Engineering products during his entire racing career. K&N makes the best air filter on the market,” he said. “Under extreme track conditions K&N keeps the dirt out of my engines. I can also depend on extra filtration and additional horsepower every time I race.”
Crump is on the way to another motorcycle championship. “This race had given me a boost in confidence,” he said. “I’ll be chasing the championship all the way to the end to get the number one plate on my bike again.”
After four rounds of the 2008 World Championship Grand Prix Series, Crump is in third place overall.
