Add Horsepower to the Toyota Auris with K&N Air Intake System
Toyota released the new Auris hatchback to the European market in early 2007. With a sporty new look and exciting features like a 1.4 liter engine, a 5 speed manual transmission which boasts a 0-60 time of 13 seconds, 9 airbags, a 5 star cabin protection rating for safety, and a stereo with integrated MP3/WMA player, the Auris was intended to lure car buyers away from other compact hatchback models.

intake system 57-0674
K&N designed a high flow air intake system for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Toyota Auris. The 57-0674 replaces the Auris’ original closed air box with a round tapered K&N air filter. The K&N air filter dramatically reduces restriction in the air pulled in by the engine, which increases horsepower and improves acceleration, while providing excellent filtration against dirt and dust.
The K&N 57-0674 is a complete kit which includes a chrome topped K&N air filter (part number RC-3600) and all necessary hardware to install the filter onto the Auris’ 1.4L engine. The RC-3600 air filter element contains four layers of K&N high-flow cotton filter media treated with 0.88 ounces of K&N filter oil. When dirty, the RC-3600 can be cleaned and reoiled to provide a lifetime of performance and filtration, and will never need to be replaced. Photo illustrated instructions make installation a breeze. The entire system can be installed with only a socket set, screwdriver, and an allen wrench.
