“We are currently running a K&N air filter on the Escort,” said Gooding. “Late in the season we’ll switch to a new car which is currently under development. K&N air filters are of  course part of that new development.”

The team will start 2008 racing in both Division 1 and Revivals categories, and plan to switch to a new Division 1 car in time for Round 5 of the Championship at Blyton in September. “We have been busy over the winter working on the new car,” said Gooding. “The Open Championship is taking Rallycross in Great Britain in the right direction and my team will do everything it can this year to support this great sport.

Gooding started out as a mechanic as a teenager and has been involved with motor racing since the 1970s. He is hoping for a championship 2008 Rallycross season.
