Porsche Club of America Gets Lessons in Design, Engineering and Manufacturing from K&N
Seventy members of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) Riverside Region spent
their Saturday at K&N Engineering headquarters in Riverside, California for a
filtration tech session and more.
Chapter president Jim LaMonica said it was the largest turn out for a tech
session the club has had in years and one of the best tech sessions it’s ever
had. Porsche owners attended from Colorado, Orange County, San Diego and other
parts of southern California.

K&N employees Bert Heck, Kirk Swanson, John Reedy, Joel Valles, Tim
Fleenor, Corey Jennings, Joost Adriaans and Rich Dwyer were on hand for personal interaction with group members. “The
whole thing was supposed to go from 10 am until 1 pm,” said Jim Burke of PCA
Riverside. “We had so many questions and K&N answered them all and even offered
more information. We stayed longer than we planned for an informative tour.”
The group saw the manufacturing plant, dynamometer areas, race shop and K&N’s
state of the art lab. “K&N was able to prove its products work,” said Burke.
“The fabulous dyno rooms along with the other facilities left a good impression
on our group.”
K&N plans to give tours quarterly for all types of vehicle clubs to answer
questions and show its capability as a company in design, engineering and
