K&N Engineering has designed a high flow air intake system (63-2575) for the 2007, 2008 and 2009 Ford Expedition 5.4 liter V8 engine and the 2007 to 2009 Lincoln Navigater with the 5.4 liter engine. K&N dynamometer testing shows an 11.21 horsepower gain at 4600 RPM. K&N Engineering's air intake design has lower restriction than the factory air box system resulting in an immediate power gain.

The factory Mass Air Sensor attaches to the rotationally molded intake tube on the  63-2575. The unique heat shield has "tabs" for attaching it to the factory lower air box via the factory latches. This allows the K&N chrome top air filter (RC-5173) to receive a consistent flow of fresh cool air. In addition, the heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment.

The 63-2575 is designed to improve engine performance and is easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less. K&N high flow intake systems come with the famous Million Mile Limited Warranty.
