He came back full time in 2007 for the Derby Phoenix MCC Pre Injection 600cc Series. “I had a number of podiums and fastest race laps,” said Harrison. “I also grabbed 6th place in the series onboard a very mildly tuned 2000 Yamaha R6. My confidence is back and that is why we purchased the Yamaha R6 for 2008.”

Plans are underway to modify and tune the new machine to make it competitive for the British Championship. “We also want to hit the track early in the year,” said Harrison. “The first race will be held at Brands Hatch. I know it’s going to be another stop but we feel ready to take on the challenge both physically and mentally. I feel we can be competitive along the larger factory supported teams. I’ll be trying 110 percent in 2008 for our sponsors.”

K&N Engineering has supplied Harrison Brothers with parts since 2005. “We know with K&N our bikes are working at their best,” said Richie Harrison. “We never have a problem with any of K&N products or services and we are looking forward to working with K&N again in the 2008 season.”
