Kvapil will compete for the first time on the new Las Vegas Motor Speedway high-banked surface. “I’ve not raced at Las Vegas since it’s been reconfigured,” said Kvapil. “I know a lot of the guys last year had the opportunity to test before the race last fall, but I’ve not had that luxury. It will be all new to me when we unload there. There will be a lot to learn and it will be a challenge. I love the city, and the atmosphere out there is great.”

Kvapil has completed all but two laps of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition in 2007. “I don’t think it’ll take long for him to get adapted to Las Vegas Motor Speedway,” said Crew Chief Mike Beam. “We didn’t have the run we would have liked last week at Loudon, so we’re looking to rebound from that this week.”

Kvapil recorded his 17th top-15 finish of 2007 at Loudon at New Hampshire International Speedway.  At Las Vegas, Race 19 of 25 will be on SPEED-TV at 8:30 p.m. EST.
