George Catanzano started driving IMCA modifies in 1997 and has 104 career wins.
He races for the Z1 Race Team which was started by crew chief Steven Hart and Z1
racing supplies owner Mike Zibella.

Team Z Motorsports IMCA Modified
The Ghent, New York racer is the defending champion of the Empire State Series.
Catanzano picked up another win at Fonda Speedway in September to put Team Z1 in
the lead. “The series has 9 races in the New York area,” said Steven Hart. “All
the best drivers participate.”
In early October, the Can-Am Speedway race was cancelled because of heavy rain.
The next race is at Five Mile Point Speedway in Kirkwood, New York.

The Z1 Race Team IMCA Modified Car is nationally sanctioned and can be
raced anywhere in the country. The team has other races planned at the World
Short Track Nationals in North Carolina, The Skip Papis Memorial at Afton
Speedway and the Duel in the Desert at Las Vegas in November.
