K&N dynamometer testing shows more than an 11% increase in peak power gain. A 3.18 horsepower gain was measured at 35.6 mph. K&N’s air intake design has lower restriction than the factory system. The result is a power gain you can feel immediately along with excellent air filtration.

The 63-1121 air intake system replaces the stock airbox and intake track with an intake tube, an oversized airbox and a chrome top K&N air filter (RC-2960XD).
The K&N air filter is washable and reusable. It is also pre-oiled and ready for installation.
A heat shield assembly is installed into the vehicle and secured with the provided hardware to the factory airbox mounting locations. The powder coated black heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment and allows it to receive a consistent flow of fresh air.

A K&N DryCharger is also supplied for increased protection and longer service intervals in extreme dust or wet conditions. Fuel management modifications are not necessary to receive increased performance.
