K&N’s 63-3058 and 77-3058KP were designed to improve engine performance in the 2007 and 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 6.0 liter engine, 5.3 liter engine and the 4.8 liter engine. The 63-3058 use a non-metallic rotationally molded tube that can reduce intake air temperature and decrease intake sound over a metal tube. Testing shows the 63-3058 gains 17.54 horsepower @ 4917 RPM. The 77-3058KP uses a free-flowing mandrel-bent aluminum tube that produces a serious sound while gaining 12.49 horsepower @ 4917 RPM.

The 2005-2006 GMC Sierra 1500 HD and 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 HD Classic uses the 57-3023-1 or 77-3023KP air intake. The 57-3023-1 gains 15.17 horsepower @ 5018 RPM with a non-metallic intake tube while the 77-3023KP uses a polished aluminum tube to gain 14.05 horsepower @ 4897 RPM. The 77-3023KP will also fit the 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 6.0 liter engine.
The 2001 to 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 6.0 liter engine may also use K&N’s 57-3023-1 Fuel Injection Performance Kit to gain 15.17 horsepower @ 5018 RPM. The 57-3023-1 dramatically reduces intake restriction as is smoothes and straightens air flow.
K&N’s 57-3050 and 77-3050KP were designed for the 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 6.0, 5.3 and 4.8 liter engine and the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic with 5.3 and 4.8 liter engine. The 57-3050 uses a black non metallic intake tube to gain 11.92 horsepower @ 5367 RPM while the 77-3050KP gains 8.44 horsepower @ 5337 RPM with a polished aluminum intake tube. The 77-3050KP also fits the 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 and 4.8 liter engine.
Owners of the 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 liter engine and 4.8 liter engine may also choose the 57-3050 which gains 11.92 horsepower @ 5367 PM. All K&N Air Intakes for the Sierra 1500 are easy to install, usually in 90 minutes or less.
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 models with the 5.3 and 4.8 liter engine gain 9.11 horsepower @ 5352 RPM with K&N’s 57-3021-1 and 8.21 horsepower with K&N’s 77-3021KP.
