Team Waggoner earned its 20th first place win at a ProROCK event in Cougar
Cody and Jim Waggoner were looking forward to the pre-series competition.
The team wanted to try out its new CBM Motorsports built motor before the first WE
ROCK event. “We realized no other trophy class rigs signed up at Cougar Buttes,”
said Cody Waggoner. “It was a little bit of a let down, but we used it as a great opportunity to improve our skills as a team.”

Team Waggoner went first on each course but still managed to run a flawless
weekend. With new tires they climbed up boulders and stuck to the rocks both
days. “Our K&N Engineering air filter gave us more horsepower than ever on our
new engine,” said Waggoner. “Our rebuilt motor with K&N was strong and powerful
and worked with ease on the course.”
Spectators watched the show and cheered on the team. Cody Waggoner also took
time out of the race to test other kinds of crawlers. “We look forward to the
real competition starting April 12th and 13th at Perris, California,” said
