Work Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30 pm

Position Description

  • Manage the personnel and resources required for the Tube Bending and/or Exhaust departments
  • Manage Tube Bending and/or Exhaust production lines
  • Active participant in departmental process improvement
  • Responsible for training manufacturing personnel for skilled positions when necessary
  • Create and deliver routing instructions to Configuration Management
  • Approve production tooling created by Engineering
  • Experience, Skills, & Education

  • Leadership and supervisory experience and understanding of management principles
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Thorough understanding of metal bending and fabrication techniques and current standards
  • Thorough understanding of general manufacturing practices, including scheduling, basic efficiency metrics, and time studies
  • Must know and understand principles used in welding, bending and fabricating
  • Ability to read engineering prints
  • Computer literate
  • Additional Qualities Necessary

  • Must possess excellent leadership skills
  • Must be well organized and demonstrate ability to simultaneously handle multiple duties, prioritize, follow through on all tasks and projects, and meet pre-determined deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers and in a 1-on-1 or team situation
