Dear K & N:
I recently purchased an Air Charger for my 2006 Dodge Charger RT with the 5.7
liter multi displacement Hemi engine. The immediate increase in horse
power on a car that already packs plenty of muscle was incredible! My
Charger takes off like a rocket and simply is not the same care.
To my absolute shock, however, is the dramatic increase in fuel economy. I
am getting an average of 3 more miles per gallon for city driving and 2 more
miles per gallon for steady highway driving.
Installing a K & N Air Charger system on a 2006 Dodge Charger RT must have been
what Dodge had in mind when they went public with a national television
advertisement campaign to inform viewers that the "Charger had been unleashed."
After installing a K & N Air Charger system my Charger truly has been unleashed!

love my K&N
I have a 2001 Nissan Xterra and I just got a K&N air intake system (K&N 57-6005)
, I love it. It has a great sound and I could immediately notice the
performance gains.
Thanks,

I installed a K&N air filter about three years ago in my 99 F-150.
4X since then I've put about a 75,000 miles on it, during that I've been through
all types of mud, dirt, and sand. I figured it was time for cleaning the
other day so I bought a cleaning kit and when I pulled the filter out it was
filthy on the outside, but the inside of it was a lot spotless, and absolutely
no dirt in the intake tube. I am completely 100% percent satisfied with
your product.

I love K&N
I own a 96 Honda Prelude, a 93 Honda Accord, and a 94 Nissan

I buy a new vehicle, I get rid of the paper filter immediately. Thanks for

Great results with K&N 57i induction kit.
Hi There,
I would like to thank you all at k&n for producing great
filters and kits. Recently I bought one of your induction kits(57i kit)
for the Volkswagen Polo 1.6 mpi, the difference is astounding, WHAT A NOISE,
also increased power and torque, Brilliant. Engine was ok stock but now
it's brilliant, It breathes so much better and responds so much quicker, and the
car now sounds awesome, 3rd gear and floor it and it flies!!!!!!. Should have
got one much earlier. It was my friend who introduced me to them. He
had kits on his fiesta and escort.
THANK YOU.

Just a few lines to say that I am a confirmed K&N customer and I
believe that your oil filters are the best and I buy enough to keep my Chevy
powered Jaguar supplied for 12 months at a time. The reason that new
vehicle manufacturers don't fit your great products is that they must have
vested interests elsewhere; they probably make more moola from the ever
suffering public who are only cannon fodder for the RICH.
Thanks for giving the "Average Joe" a fair deal!! Merry Xmas to All ....

LAST YEAR I PURCHASED ONE OF YOUR AIR FILTERS FOR MY 1996 MERCURY
GRAND MARQUIS AND WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH IT. WE MADE A TRIP OUT TO COLORADO
AND THE CAR PREFORMED AND GOT BETTER GAS MILEAGE FULLY LOADED WITH THE K&N AIR
FILTER THAN IT DID EMPTY WITH A "PAPER" AIR FILTER. I WAS SO IMPRESSED
WITH IT I TOLD MY DAD ABOUT IT AND HE BOUGHT ONE FOR HIS NEW CHEVY AND HIS
MECHANIC SAID IT WAS ONE OF BEST INVESTMENTS HE COULD OF MADE FOR HIS CAR.
I JUST PURCHASED A CAR ON E-BAY AND DROVE IT FROM WASHINGTON TO GA BUT BEFORE IT
LEFT WASHINGTON I PUT A K&N AIR FILTER ON IT. IT WILL BE THE ONLY
AIR FILTER THAT CAR OR ANY OF MY CARS WILL EVER OWN.
MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT K&N DOES NOT MAKE AIR FILTERS FOR MY AIRPLANE (HINT-
HINT)
IT IS REFRESHING TO FIND A COMPANY THAT MAKES A PRODUCT THAT ACTUALLY LIVES UP
TO IT CLAIMS.

It’s nice to know that you don’t have to spend an arm or a leg to get a
little more out of your vehicle’s. I get the best of both worlds more
speed for less fuel…. For every car or motorcycle I purchase it does not
leave the showroom with out its filter. Not is it my household
requirement. It’s now the whole family’s requirements. “21 cars in

Hi!
I have replaced my regular paper filter with a K&N factory replacement filter in
my 1.2L Palio NV Sport 2004.
The results are worth the effort. Some of the differences I see are:
1. Lesser engine vibration specially when trying to lift from
lighter gear (2 or 3) on flyovers.
2. Car engine doesn't show any sign of AC getting started.
3. Acceleration is extremely smoother than before.
4. Pickup is marginally better.
5. Ignition is more crisp than before.
6. Can't comment on mileage since I had only two gas-fills after the
replacement.
Cheers.......

Dear K&N team,
You encourage your customers to send you their results. So these are mine:
I am from southern Germany. I used to drive an old VW Golf from 1988.
A few years ago I replaced the original foam filter with a K&N filter charger.
Because I had driven the car a few years at that time I immediately recognized a
slight improvement of performance; moreover, my car had more torque and needed
less fuel. But the effect was really just above to be noticed.
Now I have a new car, brand new this time, a Toyota Yaris 1,0L. I replaced
the original air filter after about 4000 kilometers with a K&N filter charger.
I noticed during change that the K&N is VERY thin compared with the original
filter (which is cotton too, I think). I even breathed through the
original, what left me exhausted ;) because it was so thick. I never had
any problems with the K&N filter while it was in my VW Golf, so I put that thin
thing into my new car and took it for a ride. What shall I say? The
effect was overwhelming. My car now has more torque, more power, goes
faster AND needs less fuel. I know this sounds impossible, but it is true.
I can drive 140 to 150 kilometers per hours with about 6,5 or even 6,0 liters of
fuel! I calculated after a few weeks and I found out that my car now needs
about 0,5 to 0,75 liters less fuel than before the filter change!
I will recommend K&N filters to all my friends & family. I should mention that
the reason I bought K&N filters was in the first place for making my car more
environment-friendly. That they did help me with for both of my cars.
Thank you very much for this high-quality product!
All the best & greetings from Germany,

incredibly informative, I have learned much by reading it. I have a 2001

ordering a K&N filter, and I assure you, no matter what I drive, I will be a

K&N Keeps My Engine Lubricated and Breathing!
I’m from Anchorage, Alaska, and I have a 1990 Chevy K1500 that originally came
with the 4.3L V6, and that engine eventually broke down. I had a friend
install a 350 V8, and due to budget restrictions, we reused the small 10” air
cleaner from the V6, severely restricting the new V8’s ability to breath.
But before my old V6 died, I had purchased a K&N Air Filter replacement, so when
I installed it on my V8, my performance and mileage improved considerably!
I gained an extra 100 miles per tank of gas. I intend to give this filter
to a friend with an older S10 Blazer and purchase an FIPK II for my V8!
I also have replaced the old oil filter with a K&N Gold oil filter, and I now
average 40-50 psi instead of 30 psi with a standard oil filter. It also stays
much cleaner, extending my oil changes to every 5000-7500 miles instead of every
3000.
Thanks K&N!

K & N Air Filters
I just wanted to congratulate you on producing such a
simple, yet effective product. Last weekend, I pulled my K & N out of my
1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with over 207,000 miles (my Grocery Getter) to
clean it off after who knows how long. I always keep a temporary paper
replacement air filter to use when I clean the K & N. So I found myself driving
my Grocery Getter around last weekend, wondering what was wrong with her, poor
acceleration, more frequent highway transmission downshifting, etc. Well,
Sunday before I went to work, I reoiled the K & N and put it back in. WOW!
What a difference! It's like having rockets it there- I'm that impressed.
I was so impressed, that Sunday night I went on line from work and ordered a K &
N for the wife's 2002 Jeep Liberty Sport. It came Fed-ex today. And
I'll say one thing, I used to call it the "Liberator", now it's the "Liber-racer."
I'm just really impressed with you're great product. I'll put one in every
vehicle I get and inform everyone about how great I think your product is.
I'm thinking about getting the whole air system for my 1995 Jeep Wrangler.
Thanks again for such a great product.
Please feel free to use this letter and my name.
Sincerely,
Joe Zindle
Hey- I forgot one thing- I'm averaging between 20 and 21 miles per gallon in the
Grand Cherokee with 207,000 miles- not that bad!

Noticeable Difference!
I just wanted to let your readers know that I installed a K&N
cold air intake system on my new 06 Mustang GT and WOW what a difference.
So easy, so affordable, and so responsive over the stock set up! The
increased power was very noticeable right away and so far I seem to be getting
about 2 miles per gallon better gas mileage if I drive sanely. Another
benefit is the sound factor. My car really sounds like a muscle car now!
This is without a doubt the best bolt on performance value out there for any
car. DO IT NOW, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Great Filter
Purchased a filter for the bike (as listed in your
testimonials) and now for car and it sure does everything you state as on the
Motorcycle, so I'm positive it will give me great service in the Commodore as
well. Fuel over this way is at this moment $1.29 a litre (that's $5.80 a
imperial gallon) and I will be happy to see an improvement on this area but also
the get up and go department as well.

Mileage Improvement
I installed a K&N air filter in my 1984 Mercedes
380 SL last spring. My gas mileage immediately increased 15% on the
highway and my wife (who drives it the most) noticed an improvement in
acceleration the first time she drove it with the new filter. I also
installed one in my 1987 Porsche in the spring and the performance increase was
very noticeable. I just picked up a 97 Ford Ranger and an air filter is on
the way here right now. Thanks for a great product!!!

Thanks!
I'd been thinking about getting an induction kit for a while, wasn't really sure
which one to get or how to fit it. Problem solved with K&N! Kit was
designed specifically for the model and manufacturer of car, fitted perfectly.
The clear and concise colour instructions I received with it allows a complete
modification novice to rip bits out from under the hood and replace with
confidence. Took about an hour, spent ages working out how to remove the
standard air box! (Big and heavy in comparison) Sounds fantastic, my car
finally doesn't sound as if it's going to explode when pushed a little, may get
a bit annoying on long journeys though. Performance wise... there was
never going to be anything special on a 1.2i but acceleration is smoother, (no
lag time when back on the gas after changing gear) engine feels more responsive,
and I'm not sure but I could swear I'm not using quite as much fuel. Add
to the above never having to replace the filter again. I'm a very
satisfied customer, think I'll be fitting one of these on every car I get from
now on!
Great product, great design, great instructions, great value for money,
perfectly delivered, thank you K&N!

THIS IS MY TESTIMONY
I REPLACED THE OEM AIR FILTER SYSTEM ON MY 2004 NISSAN TITAN WITH A K&N HIGH
PERFORMANCE AIR FILTER. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THE CHANGE. IT IS LIKE
DRIVING A DIFFERENT TRUCK. THE TITAN WAS QUICK BEFORE THE CHANGE. IT
IS SO MUCH QUICKER NOW. I DROVE FROM FLORIDA TO MINNESOTA DRIVING NOT OVER
70 MPH AND WAS GETTING BETWEEN 18.5 AND 19.5MPG THAT WAS OFF THE FACTORY

IF THE PAVEMENT IS A LITTLE WET I HAVE TO USE CAUTION. IT WILL BREAK THE

Hey Guy's: I'm not a pro, but I do a bit of my own work on my cars.
Currently my project is a 1992 Subaru Wagon with a Turbo. I was getting
about 15 MPG. Well after the K&N Filter I was not only getting better
mileage but a kick in the pants too. You see the car isn't stock and the
boost has been as high as 21 lbs! It is a real kick to drive and here in
the Rocky Mountains it is a lot of fun. The suspension has been breathed
on too as well as adding disc brakes all around. It is a sleeper in the
best sense. With my friend getting a K&N filter for his car when we did a
tune-up that makes a bakers dozen I've installed in vehicles! 13 satisfied
people some of whom had never heard of you. I'm so happy you make such a
good product that I feel VERY confident recommending them. I've been
working on cars since the early 70's and got my first K&N in the early 80's and
haven't turned back.

2005 Chevy Silverado 1500
Dear K&N,
I just put a 63 series intake kit on my new 2005 Silverado, Crew
Cab, Short Bed, and I love it. I was going for the gas savings and was
quite happy. I was averaging 15.2 MPG around town. I put a
fiberglass top on the bed to cut wind resistance and got about 16.2 MPG. I
said there has to be another way, so I researched and added a 63 series intake
kit to see what I could get. I am now at around 18.6 around town and 20.9
on the highway. Not bad for a full size truck with 4 doors. I have
to say I was not looking for the added power but it is a welcome side effect
when entering traffic. Thanks for a quality product that really looks
good. Would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save gas and
have a little more power when needed. Thanks again.

KNFilters. 33-2042, GMC Sonoma
I bought a 03 Sonoma ZR2 Highrider in '04, 190 horse, 3-speed/OD, bells and
whistles. While 0-60 felt doggish, I thought it was okay. I always,
from the time I bought it, thought that the truck just needed a little
something. I dreamt of a KN cold induction, but was quoted an installation
estimate and balked. While in a local parts store I saw the filter only
(no replacement induction parts). I took a chance and bought the filter.
I continued to the quickie-lube, had them pop it in, as I was due for an OLF.
We left the service station and pulled out into 70km posted speed limit road.
I Couldn't Believe It !! Felt like a cars acceleration. I asked my
wife, "Did you feel that?" She of course responded "no what". We ran
a few errands, visited with some friends. Four beers later My wife became
the driver. She didn't believe what I claimed as added pep. She
drove home, we live 15 miles from any town. We have three stops on the way
home. Every one of them was left with a couple of black rubber marks!!
Wow!
So far the best 80 bucks (Canadian) I ever spent on my Baby. Thanks K&N

Guys-
Need to tell you- this FIPK kit really woke up our 2005 H2. Throaty
(although also whistly) throttle sound, more power and 1.5 mpg. average gain.
The truck is also reprogrammed with a programmer, but the FIPK kit was installed
after the programming, so the difference was felt from the stock airbox to your
FIPK. The truck literally blew away all the other Hummers at a recent GM
sponsored off road outing. The trail guides also commented on how good the
truck sounded climbing steep sand dunes at full throttle. We also enjoyed
the sound inside the vehicle. Of course, it does run much better on the
street, too.
Good job, K&N!

Purchased the entire FIPK 2 for my 2004 Chevy Silverado 4.3L, V-6 Vortec.
I was getting around 19-20 mpg on the highway, and slight pick-up when passing
before the kit was installed. Now, I am getting around 23.6 mpg on the
highway and have a lot more horsepower when accelerating. The extra 3 mpg
really helps with the gas prices today!!
My engine runs cooler and at a lower rpm, even at higher speeds and I have seen
an improvement in my fuel economy. Great product!

Dear K&N:
Just wanted to let you know that I have put your filter in three cars and all
have better throttle response and acceleration. The first car was a 2003
Nissan Altima and it was nice to be able to speed up on the freeway and not have
to shift down. The second was a 1996 Toyota Tercel that definitely needed
any edge it could get and once again the filter performed beyond my
expectations. Finally I recently traded in the Nissan and bought a 2005
Dodge Grand Caravan and put in the filter today and immediately noticed a huge
acceleration difference and will report back on the gas mileage. Not sure
what the difference in mileage was with the other cars but I know it was better
just based on how far I could go. In the Nissan Altima after installing
the filter and nothing else, I went from Phoenix to Vegas and back in 100+ temps
and a/c running and car loaded with family and luggage and made the entire trip
which was 555 miles on one tank, which is incredible.

Flat Amazing! I just installed the factory replacement drop in and in half
a tank of fuel I've gained 4 MPG. I'll be updating you with actual figures
when I get them next fill up. I've also turned my Boss on to the Filters
and the Receptionist just had me have my supplier order her one as well.
Anyway I can get a commission on these things??? Keep up the excellent
work. Figures b-4 were 47-49 and in the first half tank I'm up to 53.333
mpg and that's at 70mph.

Hi,
Just an email to say thanks for the excellent technical support I received when
selecting a K&N air filter for my 1990 Suzuki Bandit (Grey Import here in Oz)
I have now traveled approximately 2000 kms with the new filter, the throttle
response is improved, acceleration is better and the dip in the power curve I
had at approx 6-7000 rpm (16500 rpm redline) is now gone. The best thing
is the satisfying induction sound and the improved engine pick up from any rpm
to make overtaking even easier.
Seat-of-the-pants horsepower feel has also improved, albeit slightly. The
best improvement is the more responsive throttle.
Good on you K&N. I will be using your filters in all my bikes and cars
from now on.

Last year I looked around for several months to find one of those cylone
things to try to increase my horse power. I finally found one but decided to
research it on the web. Glad I did because it turns out they don't do
diddly! I then decided to try the K & N filter. Glad I did!
Not only was it less expensive but the 5 horse power I expected turned out to be
closer to 10. Wow! I was getting about 17 mpg city and 28 highway.
Now with the K & N I'm getting 21 city and 33 highway. I told my roommate
about it and he promptly went out and got one too. Now most of my friends
have them as well. I have an 89 delta 88. It runs like a brand new

2005 Mountaineer Results
I and at least two of my brothers, have been using your
products for years and I have never been disappointed with results. My
latest application is my wife's 2005 Mercury Mountaineer with the 4.6 L V-8.
This time it's a replacement air filter, P/N 33-2207 only, with no other
alterations. After carefully logging mileage over combined city / highway,
city only, and highway only, I have concluded there is a net 2.1 MPG improvement
on the road and 1.7 MPG improvement in the city. There is also a
noticeable improvement in throttle response with a negligible increase in under
the hood noise. At today's fuel prices, there is a quick return on the
investment and huge future savings when the cost of multiple replacement air
filters is considered.

make to it. The "darn" thing just fires up fine and runs like a dream, sure glad
it was fitted and I do not care about the fuel savings (I know they do exist)
together with precious metal plugs this bike is terrific.

I was not one who gives into all the hype about a product until I saw the in
store demo, that is what sold me on the product. I have also found the
part number for my other vehicle which I will now go to the store and buy
because it is on the road 5 days a week for work and the cost of gas continues
to rise. I am sure this will help. Also I tell all my friends and
family about this product. Hopefully they listen to me.

Grand Prix GTP - I replaced the stock filter with the K&N
filter and box 3 years ago at 18k miles. Car has 72k now. I instantly
noticed more power and mileage increase about 2.5 MPG on the highway and 2 mpg
around town. Recently I put the stock air box and filter back in for 1
month to see the difference.... You could notice right away the drop in power
and mileage back to factory numbers. Re-installed the K&N.........Back to
2.5 mpg gain and noticeable increased power right away. Even my wife
noticed it ! Great products and easy to maintain. Why these filters
aren't stock in all new vehicles is beyond me! I now have them in all of
our cars.

Hey I bought a Gen. II Cold air intake for my
1996 Chevy Blazer that has a 4.3L. I would like to say it's great!
Very clear instructions and easy to put together with no modifying. I'm
very satisfied with your product and will highly recommend to friends of mine.
I could tell the difference in power when I got onto the freeway and also gained
3.7 MPG.
Thanks again, from a proud Chevy owner, Jeff Holm Jr.

K&N - Infinity I35
I recently purchased a 2003 Infinity I35 and had checked the mpg after
three tanks of fuel. I purchase your product and watched the fuel economy
go up 1.5 mpg. It really accelerates better also.
Great product! Thank you.

I have used a K&N filter in every car and motorcycle I've ever owned.
I have used them ever since a friend referred me to them and have seen fuel
efficiency gains up to 10% and horsepower gains up to 15 hp. Thank you for
the many years of dependable quality products. Anyone concerned with gas
prices i.e. everyone, should get one.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To the great minds at K & N,
I just installed the fipk generation 2 on my 1999
Ford Ranger 4.0 liter v6 and I can't believe the throttle response. It is
like I installed a 4 barrel where I had a 2 barrel and actually the roar from
under the hood reminds me of the sound the muscle cars of the 60's when you put
the peddle down to the floor. I haven't had a chance to check if the fipk
is going to save me any gas because I get a kick out of the look on people's
faces when I run it through 1st and second gear hard. K & N has really
made a believer out of me...Worth every penny and really easy to install....Just
40 minutes from start to roar.....BRAVO ZULU!!!

I originally installed a K&N filter in a 1984 S10 Blazer with a 2.8liter
engine. I noticed a difference at startup. It used to hesitate when
starting, but not anymore. I have since, sold the Blazer and have
installed K&N filters on every car I've owned. Most recently is my 1999
Dodge Dakota which I installed a FIPK II and noticed results in performance and
fuel economy. I was also in the Coast Guard for four years. K&N
filters are used in the Patrol boat and in both of the Motor Life Boats that I
was stationed with.
Keep up the good work,

I Can't Believe It
I can't believe it, but it's true what people are saying about the KN filter.
I'm using the KN filter for the first time and what a big improvement it made
for my 2005 Chevy Avalanche. Now my wife wants it placed in her SUV 2005
Equinox and my son as well in looking forward to purchasing the high
performance. With gas prices on the rise this is a great way to save money
and bring better performance to your new or old vehicle. My son has me
thinking about the high performance air charger (air intake) as well as the oil
filter. A customer for life...

2002 Porsche Boxster S
Just dropped in your filter to replace the stock paper
filter last night…reset computer on the car this AM. Car idles very
smoothly at 700rpm. When driving there is a noticeable improvement in
throttle response through out the entire rpm range….but put the peddle to the
floor and you can hear and feel the difference. With the gas peddle
floored I can tell a distinct difference in performance and the exhaust now
sounds much more aggressive (actually kind of “mean”, I like that!)….car only
has approx. 21,000 miles, but the K&N has made a distinct difference. I
also have one in my 95 Cherokee that I’ve owned for eight years…bought with
59,000 miles and now has 170,000 miles and still runs like new…..

I just wanted you to know we have many opportunities to verify hp improvements
with K&N Filters and were always impressed even in custom applications we
fabricate using a K&N Filter and our intake tubes. Recently we ran a 1999
Pontiac Firebird 5.7 on our Dynapack chassis dyno and saw a 10 hp improvement @
the wheels in a completely stock vehicle with the stock replacement K&N part
number 33-2118. We must say that no matter what K&N is a huge improvement
over stock. If you are questioning whether or not you should purchase one,
stop now and pull out your checkbook and order yours today! Once again my
hands are in the air.

All I can say is this filter is AMAZING! I installed your stock
replacement filter into my 2002 Jeep Liberty with 80,000 miles on it and it
seems that I am just baaaarely touching the gas and am cruising along at highway
speeds. It's unbelievable how great these filters make a car run!
I'm absolutely positive I am going to get MUCH better gas mileage which is going
to be great since gas prices are getting up so high. I was getting only 19
highway with the old stock air filter which must have needed replaced badly.
I know that my gas mileage is going to improve beyond what I was hoping for.
I'm gonna guess near 30 Highway with what I have seen so far. I would use
almost a half tank of gas in a week poking around town, and after my first week,
have barely used a quarter. It seems I am having to use the brakes more
now because the car just keeps on going and going (a welcome side effect).
I was going to get a different car, but now I am once again loving driving the
Jeep. I am ordering 2 more filters for our Volvo 240's and I'm telling
everyone I know about these awesome filters! You live up to your claim of
"The Worlds Best Air Filter" and I wish I had heard of you years ago!

K&N,
About 2 weeks after getting my 04 Tiburon I bought your drop in filter for my
car and it did good, saw about a 2 mpg increase, of an average of about 24.3mpg
on the highway. But then that wasn't enough, so I went down and ordered
your typhoon intake(69-5300ts) from a local speed shop, and all I can say is "WOWZA!".
I installed it in about 45 minutes and I couldn't believe the difference it made
and the sound is awesome! Just to let you know my friends say it sounds
like i have an exhaust but I don't it sounds that good!! I recently went
to a dyno and saw about a 13 whp over stock and 14 wtq over stock (just shows
you how restrictive that stock intake system is) and the best part is I now get
about 28mpg on the highway when I keep my foot out of it that is. I was
just wanting to tell you guys thank you so much for a great product it rocks!!
You have a customer for life!!! (note: I have had the intake for about 1/2
a year and it still performs awesome!)

Dear K&N filters,
This product has improved gas mileage on my 2002 honda 6 cylinder engine as I
tested between 55 to 60 mile per hour going to work. It has increase from
approximately from 29.58235 to 31.72 mpg and perhaps even better with non stop
trips. This product is a must for rising gas prices.

Dear sirs:
All I can say is most people won't believe this but then it's their loss...in
miles per gallon that is. I Own 2 Harleys, a 1979 HD Sportster that
several years ago I put a K&N air filter on and felt like it doubled it's
performance, and a 1999 FLSTF Fat Boy. I didn't rest there, as a year ago
I put a K&N on my 2001 Dodge Ram Quad cab Cummins turbo diesel and also felt the
increase in performance not to mention the scream of that turbo that I had never
really heard from the factory.
Recently two of my buddies and I went on a motorcycle trip to Stecoah, N.C.
Before going on the trip I changed all my fluids and serviced the whole bike.
I decided to buy a K&N air filter and pitch the stock one. They were
riding a 2003 Honda Goldwing, a 2005 Harley Davidson Roadking and I took my 99
Fat Boy. Prior to installing the K&N my Fat Boy got between 40 & 43 MPG.
As we went from fuel stop to fuel stop my mileage was as follows: 43 MPG, 47
MPG, 46 MPG, 48 MPG and 52 MPG EVERY tank after that. My buddies only
mustered 44 -46 MPG. Most people would ask what about the weight and the
speed. Well both my saddle bags were packed, I had a bag with 20 lbs. on
my luggage rack, plus my TBags weighed in at about 50 lbs. The weight we
carried was all about the same. The motorcycle weights were different, but
not enough to warrant the major difference in MPG. Also mine is carbureted
and theirs are fuel injected. As far as the speeds, we were cruising on
the interstate at 70 to 80 MPH through a whole fuel run which was about 200
miles. Even when I was on the tail of the dragon, which is 318 turns in 11
miles, my mileage stayed at 52 MPG. All I can say is after over 1700 miles
on that trip the K&N definitely paid for itself with the increase of 9-12 MPG.
So everyone has a choice. you can pay at the pumps or spend that money on the
LAST air filter you will EVER buy.

Yesterday I switched out my (competitor air intake name removed) to the 69 Series
Typhoon (CCA). I drive a 2004 Nismo Failady Z, and all I can say is WOW!!!!!! This system kicks A**!
The throttle response is out of control, as is the quicker acceleration from a dead stop or at 70-100mph rolling on it.
It also sounds cool. You can hear the air being forced into the intake (similar sound to a Turbo) as is the response (quick).
This product was definitely made for the Nissan Z. We dyno'd it 3x today.
It shows an increase or 13HP, 10WHP. I am now pushing over 400 at the motor and just under 400 at the wheels.
After the Twin Turbo is installed, who knows where I'll be. I want to thank K&N for being loyal to their followers and continuing to produce the best street series parts that will rock your world.
P.S.
To any 350Z owners, this is a no brain-er. Get one, you WILL NOT BE SORRY.
I do not like sharing my HP secrets but what the heck, this is worth sharing.
Thanks K&N!!!!

Hi to all at K&N,
A great product launched in India. I Was the first to buy the filter for my Fiat Palio 1.2.
It Was lacking the horses in my car as it is only a 1.2 but after I replaced my old filter with yours, man my car moves now!!
Really very happy with the product and I am looking forward to fit it on my new car, a Maruti Baleno 1.6.
The Mumbai, India dealer was a great help in convincing me to buy this filter for my car.
Keep up the good work.

I was driving a Civic for 4 years before I sold it 2 years ago. The car is superbly fast in acceleration after I used the K&N replacement filter.

Now I bought a new Nissan Sunny, I am going to purchase a K&N filter as I strongly believe it will help its acceleration and petrol consumption!

57 Series FIPK for 2002 Chevy Tahoe
This past week I installed a 57 Series FIPK on my 2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 liter V-8 4WD.
There was an instant increase in throttle response and power. This 8 Cylinder can finally breath and the sound it makes when it does is beautiful.
Seeing is believing. So I've proudly demonstrated the increase in performance to others and have a convinced a few to buy one for their vehicles.
I don't know how I went so long without one.

Last week I installed the 63 Series Gen II FIPK in my 2004 F-150 4x4 5.4L 3V Lariat and I have been raving about it ever since, so I figured I would let you guys know as well.
It sounds great for a bonus, but the real deal is the definite difference in acceleration, and more importantly, improved towing.
I just towed my boat for the first time 180 miles roundtrip, and where I could never use o/d due to constant rpm revving, since installing the FIPK, I literally don't notice the boat behind me with o/d on, as the rpm's never had to rev up.
Great product and I have told all my Ford truck owning friends! Oh, and did I mention a 5 mpg improvement on highway driving?

I am a quarter midget mom and we use the K&N air filters on our car.
It is a weekly ritual for me to clean the air filters. I usually bring the filter home and clean it with dawn dish soap in my kitchen sink.
Recently our local pep boys store had a sale running on the air filter kit which we decided to buy for the oil but that kit also contained the cleaner which I had never used on our micro sprint nor the quarter midget in our past 8 years of racing.
So anyway I read the directions and sprayed the cleaner on the filter and let it sit in my kitchen sink to soak for the 10 minutes, I got busy and had to run out of the house so it ended up sitting there for a few hours.
When I got home I went to continue cleaning the filter and low and behold when I picked up the filter there was a beautiful white spot in my very old
porcelain sink. So I grabbed the cleaner a sprayed the entire sink left it soak for awhile rubbed (not scrub) over it with a brush and I now have a very white shiny sink.
I have tried everything to clean this sink and nothing would take away that dingy yellow old hard water stains until now. I will be using the cleaner from now on (and maybe even trying it in the bathroom).
I also wanted to add that the filter, cleaner, and oil all work excellent for there intended purpose (keeping
a lot of the dirt from ruining our engines) as well. Thanks!

Dear K & N,
A little over a year ago, I purchased a replacement K & N Air Filter Element
for my 2003 Toyota Highlander SUV. At that time, the Highlander had about 15,000 miles.
This Highlander is powered by Toyota's V6 and has 4WD. Most of my driving is highway with about 5% city driving.
Being in New England, the AC in the summer and the 4WD in the winter provides for additional operating costs.
With the ever increasing price of gas, I was looking for some ways to save on fuel costs and your filter provided such a possibility.
My initial checks determined an increase of 4.38 % with your air filter installed in place of the factory original.
I am please to let you know that overall, after nearly 25,000 additional miles of this type of driving, I am still
experiencing this 4% increase in fuel economy. With today's gas prices soaring, the monetary return on this
modest investment is ever greater and with a shorter pay back time. Your sales must be booming - Thanks!
Thanks again!!!!!!

Okay this story started with my 1998 Honda Valkyrie (bought new and regularly serviced).
After being told to change the filter for over a year by some other rider/mechanic friends, I finally gave in and bought the K&N filter.
I had to recheck my numbers several times before I believed the results. This bike went from an average of 28-30 MPG to 35 MPG......This just couldn't be right?
So I tried it again on my 1999 F150 and got good results but the final straw was last week.
I bought a 1999 Jeep Wrangler with the 4.0 six cylinder with 46000 miles. Now these 4X4's are fun but not known as economical.
I replaced the air intake with a (K&N) FIPK system and again had to smile at the results.
Better than 19 MPG on the highway???? Are you guys kidding me???? I've told everyone that would listen about my results (and some that didn't ask).
Can I have a job guys? I want to tell everybody about these systems.
I've just written to your product line looking for a FIPK for my RV....if there isn't one produced yet, there dang sure should be!
No kidding, I'd be proud to represent your company......I'm really jazzed.
Thanks,

Just wanted to pass on my Kudos to such a great product. I have a 2003 Suburban with the 5.3l engine.
I installed the 77-3023 kit about a month ago and have not looked back. I tow a boat on the weekends and just last week took a trip up in the mountains of Colorado.
The true "performance" of the kit really showed while going up several steep mountain grades.
Other vehicles had emergency flashers on because they could not keep their speed up while going up the hill.
Not so with the my Suburban and the K&N 77 kit loaded down with luggage and family.
It was not only able to keep up speed, but had plenty of power in reserve.

I love it! I have only had my air filter for two days. I instantly noticed a dramatic difference!
Throttle response is totally different. MUCH IMPROVED!! I haven't had it long enough to see the improvement in gas mileage, but I'm eagerly anticipating it.
And the value, I'll spend the same amount for one k&n filter that I'll spend on a years worth of other filters, but
I will never buy another again!!! Well at least until I buy another vehicle and then I will Immediately buy a K&N for it!!!
I LOVE IT and I'll never use another brand!!!!

GREAT PRODUCT
I work for a parts house in Cincinnati Ohio and I have bought 2 of these units for my soon to be wife's 2001 Pontiac Aztek and my
parent's 2001 E-150 4.2 v-6 and I love these air filters. The quality of the filter is top notch and couldn't be better plus on the
Aztek if you've ever had to change the air filter you know it is in a pain of a place to replace every 15,000 mile so .... not only
will I have to clean it less often (which saves me heads because of where it is) but she gets better gas
mileage better acc. and more BHP, out of a FWD SUV....makes me and her happy.... as far as my parents E-150 $78.00 fill up, every little mpg COUNTS and like
I said before the filter is top notch and the acceleration and BHP is increased.....great product and keep up the good
work....

Dear K&N,
I have a 2004 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6. I recently installed your K&N replacement
panel filter into the vehicle. I quickly saw an increase in gas mileage from 19 (with OEM) to 21 (with K&N).
This is a great improvement in mileage for this engine. I have had the filter installed for about a year now and am proud to say that the filtered side of the intake pipe is spotless, and the MAF sensor that sits just inches from the K&N is clean and spotless.
I am truly convinced that this filter does a great job filtering, AND increases gas mileage.

Greetings K&N,
At the suggestion of my friend who is a car enthusiast, I installed a K&N in my '73 Mustang restoration because I wanted increased H.P. with
a stock look. WOW!!... what a difference in performance!
OK... 12 years later during this gas crunch, I was looking for every bit of mileage I could get out of my Taurus Wagon (it is hard letting go) so I bought a K&N filter.
The results were UNBELIEVABLE. I thought I made a math error but it was no mistake; my mileage jumped from 20 to 25 MPG with two flips of the retainers!
Congratulations K & N, your team just dropped my local gas price by 40 cents a
gallon.

Hi There
Just thought I would drop a line from the other side of the planet (New Zealand), I have a K&N Pod filter fitted to my 4WD, and the other day while 4wding I managed to do a end over roll with a double sideway roll into a Pond, landing upside down, the whole vehicle was
submerged. As a result the snorkel that is usually at the top is now buried in mud.
As you would expect this caused the motor to ingest some water thru the K&N
filter. I am now in the process of cleaning out everything including the
filter. The water in the motor was clean and grit free, the intake pipe from filter to throttle body had crushed flat.
I have just removed the filter from its housing and was astounded to see the outer completely clogged with mud, and the inside of the filter very clean.
Your filters are great for air, but work equally well under water!! I have attached a couple of photos for you to look at.

Just thought I'd pass along my first impressions about your products.
I bought a K&N air filter today from my local "auto" store for my 2004 F-150 Super Crew.
I had to wait for two days for one to come in as my store was NIS. By the time I drove my truck approximately 25 miles to another part of town the filter's performance convinced me to buy another one for my daughter's F-150 Super Crew.
So I stopped in at another location and bought the second filter for her truck.
You guys have convinced me without a shadow of a doubt. thanks!

Back in April I mentioned that I put one of your air filters in my 2004 f 150 telling that it worked great.
Gas mileage was better and throttle response was noticeable. Well since then I decided to go all the way with your FIPK 2 intake system and wow...what a difference.
Throttle response was amazing and I am now saving about 1/4 of a tank a week in gas.
I didn't know that air flow could make such a difference! Thanks again

MABUHAY!! I'm from the Philippines. I Own a 2004 Chevrolet Venture LT 3.0 V6 and a 2000 Ford Lynx GHIA 1.6 both fitted with K&N air filters.
First on the Chevy venture on straight highways I achieve 11.63 km/l, on city driving (traffic) only 5.5
km/l but from the stock filter the fuel efficiency was only around 10 km/l on highways and 5 km/l on city driving.
For the Ford Lynx the fuel efficiency was from 7 km/l to 8.2 km/l this was tested for 3000 km.
This product is good in the sense that you won't replace filters anymore, it has great air flow, gives power and increase your mpg..
I recommend this to all car owners who love their cars.

I bought your replacement filter for my 1996 Ford Explorer 4wd.
The first thing I noticed was the increase in the engine power, and gas improvement.
Before I installed it I was getting around 21 highway and after I installed it I
was getting 25 mpg! I was so impressed after the first month I went out and bought the FIPK.
I am IMPRESSED! This improved almost everything from fuel economy to sound to acceleration!
It cut my 0-60 time from 8.2 seconds to 6.9 seconds! This is by far the BEST product
I have EVER bought for my Explorer!

installation I had an increase in MPG of 10%....more go and less fuel...sounds like a winning combination for my Mazda and K&N....now we just put one in our Grand Am...can't wait to see the improvements.

WOW!!!
After a few years of getting lousy gas mileage out of my 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ, I finally listened to my father, who has been a loyal K&N customer for years.
He had been telling me that I would most definitely see a considerable difference in fuel consumption.
He was right! I installed your air filter in it three weeks ago, and instead of averaging 15 mpg (city and highway), I am now averaging 20.9 mpg.
I was so happy that I put one in my 2002 Impala LS, and my 1997 Camry XLE.
I guess the moral of my story is "father knows best". Thank you for making such a great product.

I have the generation 2 injection system (FIPK) on my 2001 Dodge diesel.
My truck is dyno charted at 425 Hp and 850 ft/lbs torque and I just wanted to let K&N know how great I think the air filter is on my truck.
Now I have a greater turbo boost, added Hp, greater air flow and sounds awesome helping the turbo breath.
Thanks K&N

Four months ago I purchased a K&N 33-2069 as a replacement for the original equipment filter in my stock 1996
V.W. GTI and have been more than impressed with the difference in performance and mileage.
There's a noticeable difference in engine performance, smoother idling, and more punch along the whole power band and especially when
accelerating... even chirped the tires a few times when it had never done that before!!!!..What impressed me most was the increase in gas mileage... Am seriously considering getting a cone kit and when I do it will be K&N for sure. It will pay for itself in gas savings alone.... Truly a quality product... keep up the good work!!!!

I installed a K&N Air Filter in our 2003 Mini Cooper about 1 Year ago.
What a difference it made. The hesitation that I had when I gave it the Gas is gone.
The Gas Mileage, which was Great to begin with, also improved. I was so impressed that when we bought Our New 2005 Saturn Quad Cope Last week for our second Car
I bought a K&N Air Filter for it & installed it the 3rd day after the purchase.
Now our Mini & our Saturn have the Best Air Filter in them. The
vehicle we traded in for the Saturn also had a K&N Filter. It is a Great Product.
Thanks.

K&N-there is no substitute.
I've been a K&N filter user for a few years now, but it's my newest K&N purchase that deserves the spotlight and was/is well worth the money.
My 02 Mustang GT Conv has just acquired a Generation II FIPK® kit and boy does it make a difference!
The purchase experience was a nightmare due to "package tampering", but after 2 trips back to XYZ retailer, it all worked out.
This unit, along with my "performance" mufflers, has put some serious kick in my pony's tail!
Both performance items were added at the same time, so I'm unable to determine which part played the more dramatic increase role.
But who can argue with a 10+HP gain just by using more air. And cleaner air at that!
I've noticed extremely smooth acceleration and even smoother throttle lift-off.
The car sounds better at idle, gave me a few more MPG's in 'normal' driving situations over the course of 400 miles this weekend...but more important of these perks is the instant throttle response and power you can feel from 1500-3500 rpm.
And of course, the all out full throttle test is a no brainer. The car now screams in 2nd gear! Amazing. Like others on this message board, I've been reluctant about purchasing a major $ item like this...but know this: If you are interested in a simple, 40 minute horsepower gain without the headache that can plague many aftermarket
parts.. BUY THIS PRODUCT! K&N knows filters and K&N has made horsepower accessible to anyone with a screwdriver.

My K&N
I just put a K&N on my '92 Corvette, which is otherwise stock outside of a performance chip.
I sure wish I had before/after dyno numbers to quantify it, because I notice more of a difference with the filter than I did the chip!
I don't race my car at the track, but I'm forever in the throttle on the street.
And there's now a very noticeable difference in acceleration, especially at the initial throttle tip in.
And after reading your other testimonials, I'm now looking forward to increased gas mileage as well.
Thanks, K&N, for a GREAT product!

Dearest K&N,
I recently purchased a K&N air filter for my 1996 Ford Mustang GT (4.6L) and I must say that acceleration and HP has increased significantly.
I'm no stranger to K&N air filters because my first car had one and my father's Tundra and my mother's Camaro both have them.
I love it when I give it just a little gas and the crisp throttle answers with easiness.
I put the pedal at WOT (wide open throttle) and to complement the dual mufflers, the intake noise of all that air gushes through the engine and air box.
I am very pleased with the product and I'll stand behind it 100%!

Just dropping a note to say, I have installed your 77-3023KP system on my 2003

My K&N experience
After reading the other testimonials there isn't a whole lot more you can say. I am thoroughly impressed with your systems and filters.
I installed one of your kits on my 2003, F250 Super Duty with the 6.8L V10.
I wanted better efficiency and gas mileage and your product supplied just that.
I have been impressed enough that I went and got one of your filters for my wife's Pathfinder and it too is showing better mileage along with running stronger.
Thanks for the chance to let others know how well your products work. I just wish I had starting using them sooner.

I have an FIPK on my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (4.0 HO).
To say I love it is a massive understatement. It improved my gas mileage overall.
When I use the Overland to tow my 22' EdgeWater center console, the engine does not labor at all.
The sound when I start the engine and give it some throttle is a nice bonus, and it makes the engine compartment look great, too.
Thank you for making such a great product that actually does what you say it will, and
then some.

Dear K&N,
A couple of months ago I purchased and installed an air filter system on my 2002 Avalanche.
I wrote back to you how impressed I was with the ease of installation and the very noticeable acceleration improvement.
I was holding back on increase in gas mileage until I had taken a trip. Well, I've just returned from a round trip, from Seattle to Las Vegas and back.
On my last trip I had gotten a high of 16.4 mpg. On this trip I had a high of 18.5 mpg!
When I filled with gas in Seattle the price was $2.11 a gallon. Once on the road, in Oregon, California and Nevada, I paid an average of $2.56 and as high as $2.78 a gallon.
So, as you can see, your system is already starting to save me money. Thanks a lot.

K&N, I picked up an intake kit for my 2002 Avalanche today. I'm not a mechanic by any means, but that conversion was a snap. Your instructions are excellent!
Took it out for a test drive. Defiantly an improvement on acceleration.
Sounds Sounds like the hood's being sucked into the intake. Time will tell on the mileage. I'm thinking....money well spent.

Just a brief note to say I have received my FIPK generation II system for my 2002 Intrepid R/T.
I received the system Last Wednesday March 30 and installed it on Thursday March 31.
It took maybe 20-30 mins. I have to say there is a noticeable difference in performance and sound, all very positive.
Thursday evening I had a full car and people noticed the performance and remarked on it.
All in all I would say this was a very positive purchase.

A novel use for a K&N Filter
I use these filters in all my vehicles and wanted to use in my new lawnmower as well.
But not available so made up a snorkel system to fit the Honda motor.
In 2 years use, without cleaning, there is not a speck of dirt in the snorkel
tube (Tested with a white cloth wipe-out). The filter is absolutely filthy.
I feel it proves a point. The paper filter would be long past its use-by date.
See attatched photos.

Well, I've been reading these testimonials for about a month now since my FIPK has been on backorder for a month and
I just finally installed it tonight on my Grand Cherokee 4.0L L6. Only sticky part which
I'm sure varies from diff vehicle to vehicle is the install. Just a lil tricky and tight but i did it in about an hour and a half give or take.
My test drive was GREAT! I have a cat-back exhaust on so it was a lil hard to hear but
I did hear the whistle under the roar from the exhaust. When people say on here about throttle response being spectacular, well
"dang" they sure do mean it. This is one heck of a product, K&N.
I recommend it to everyone!

Just wanted to drop by and tell you guys how nice your filters worked for my 2004 F-150.
A few people kept telling me how powerful your air filters were and so I decided to try it out.
It probably is the best money I have spent on any accessory for my truck. The throttle response is amazing and I have noticed improved gas mileage.
I can't believe that an air filter can do all of this and the best part is I don't have to buy another one ever!
I can't wait to try the FIPK that you offer for my truck.

Received my K&N Filter today and couldn't wait to install it in my 1999 YAMAHA 350 WARRIOR.
The filter came with a special plate that made installing the filter super easy.
Also it came with different rubber inserts for re-jetted carburetors, truly superior engineering.
Now the horsepower gain truly shocked me!!! My motorcycle is now truly FAST.
Thank you very much for your intelligent engineering and best horsepower gain for the buck.

Hello K & N,
I am sort of tight when it comes to spending money.
So I knew of your product for a number of years but didn’t want to spend the money.
We bought a '99 GMC Yukon and we tow our boat almost every weekend. I thought the 350 would do a better job.
I was in a parts store and decided I would give it a shot and put one of your filters in there and what a MAJOR difference.
You can just hear the air flowing through there when I’m towing the boat.
Our mileage went up over 1 mpg towing the boat and the power is unreal. Thanks for the product.
I hope more folks like me will consider the filter and not wait like I did.

Hello,
I always knew you guys made good filters, but me being more of a
biker in India with a small 150 Ceecer, I never thought it would be of much help on my machine.
Until I got frustrated of considering it and went ahead and bought myself one.
Waahoo! It really did it. I could feel the motor gain revs very easily.
Since the single cylinder isn't one that can be exploited easily, there was no outstanding difference as such, but there most definitely was a difference, one that made me go he he.
So great, thank your people for the ingenuity.
Please make yourself more available in India. There are hundreds more just like me out here.

K&N for life!
I first bought a K&N filter for a short ram intake on an 02 Dodge Stratus.
The difference was amazing, and the savings on filter changes was great! I will only get K&N filters for all my vehicles from now on!

savings over traditional disposable filters! It's amazing! Thanks, K&N!

Chevy Trailblazer 2002 and Lexus RX300 1999 Performance Increase
Dear K&N,
Thank you for continuing to build such great products. I bought a filter for my 99 RX300 because it was getting bad gas mileage and horrible acceleration.
Installed the K&N filter, and BAM!! Much better response and mileage.
My 02 Trailblazer also felt the mileage increase. The extra power when towing is awesome.
I was a skeptic at first, the filters seemed pricey, but as I look back, the extra money is money very well spent.

I purchased a CA (cold air) kit for my 2003 Honda S2000 from "a
retailer" in February. What a kit! The thorough instructions made for an easy installation, in about 2 hours we had the car back together and taking it for a "brisk" test drive.
Every last piece needed was included the kit, every fitting and washer, I didn't have to make a parts run for anything!
Not only have I gained HP, but my mileage has gone from an average of 28.6 mpg to 29.4 mpg and with the 70 miles I drive round trip each day to work the gas savings will more than pay for the kit.
K&N's commitment to quality is second to none and I take pride in showing off my intake to everyone.

After installed 17.3 mpg, at this rate with 5 tanks of gas, it will pay for itself.

I took my 2004 F-150 pickup in for its routine service. The air filter needed to be changed.
I asked how much a new paper filter would be. They said $35.00. I was shocked because I change them out almost every time I change my oil.
Then a friend turned me on to K&N. I figured I would give it a shot since I needed a new air filter anyway.
WOW! I didn't expect anything other then whoopty doo, an air filter.... I could tell instantly how much more power my truck had.
It had more zip to it than it usually does. I was shocked. I then went home and
purchased one for my 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Just think, I could have spent $35.00 every other month for the next 4 or so years or just spend a few more dollars and never have to replace my air filter AGAIN!
This is so well worth the money it's not even funny. K&N this is to a job well done.
Amazing product! I will install a K&N filter on every vehicle I own for the rest of my life!

My 2004 Subaru was purchased in 03’ mid year. I had completely used up the factory filter.
When it came time to replace, I decided to purchase a K & N OEM replacement filter.
I do feel an increase in straight line power. The light to light times have decreased.
The turbo spools up quicker and has an increase in boost. Not a great increase, but enough to notice on the gauge.
It also holds the boost during the shifts better. I am very pleased with the out come of the OEM style replacement filter.
One more thing! Since I got the OEM filter. I was doing the registering of the item.
While on the site, I noticed a few items that I did not know where out. Now I am going to upgrade again and go with the Typhoon kit.
I will give stats when this goes down
Till then, best regards!

They defiantly add horsepower, and throttle response to my two stroke engines, and wouldn’t use any other filter!

I just want to thank K&N for making such great filters, keep up the awesome work!!!

I recently fitted a K&N OEM replacement panel filter to my 2000 Volvo V70N T5.
The car has been modified with a 300 bhp upgrade and I found that my average mpg using the OEM filter was between 24.5mpg and 25.5 mpg.
I make regular 500 mile round trips to the English south coast, and found that previously I would average 29mpg using the OEM filter, driving the whole journey at motorway speed.
After fitting the K&N replacement filter I found my everyday mpg to be 26 to 27mpg under normal (occasionally spirited!) driving.
My first trip to the south gave a fuel consumption of 31mpg. The throttle response seems to be
noticeably sharper, and there is more willingness to the engine and the acceleration on-boost.
With the extortionate price of petrol in the UK, even a 5% increase in fuel efficiency means that I save enough each month for your product to pay for itself in 5 months with my current monthly mileage.
An excellent product.

I have used K&N in most of the cars we have owned over the past 7 years and most recently installed one in my 2005 SAAB 9-2X.
Besides the improved gas mileage (typically 1 mpg over a new stock filter), and the other benefits mentioned by other users, one area that it helps that no one mentions is protection from rodents!
We live in a heavily wooded area, and before using K&Ns, I would often find that mice had made nests using the paper from conventional filters, thereby destroying engine protection provided by the air filter.
Mice & chipmunks have really plagued our cars, even eating the top of the gas tank on my wife's new SAAB last spring. (not covered by warranty).
They never seem to touch the K&Ns, even in my old MG that sits all week until I drive it on weekends.
Must be the combination of a strong wire mesh protecting an oiled gauze that they find distasteful.

I have had my K&N filter in my 97’ Dodge Dakota for over two years and I notice a major difference in get-up-n-go.
I have gained about a whole mile per gallon difference. I went from an average of 183 miles per tank to 195 per tank.
This is with just the OEM replacement from K&N. I can just imagine the difference if I replaced the air box and 3” intake with the K&N replacement kit would be.
Before I first got the K&N air filter when I needed to accelerate real quick it took a whole second before my truck responded.
However, after I put the K&N in it is almost instantaneous and still is.

Outstanding Product!!!
Hello - I am very impressed with this product. I put a K &N filter in my 2004 Mazda 6s 3.0 V6 over the weekend and I noticed an immediate difference in compression and horsepower.
My daily commute includes a 40 mile highway sprint and the acceleration with the new filter was noticeably more spirited than before especially at passing speeds.
I'm looking forward to seeing how the K&N filter affects my fuel efficiency.
So far I'm very pleased with this product and I'm going to recommend it to my friends and family.
UPDATE - This thing is wonderful! I just ordered another one for my Wife’s Mazda MPV minivan.
Her vehicle has less horsepower and is geared a lot lower than my car. In a few months we are going to install a hitch mounted bike rack.
I can’t wait to see how the new air filter affects the low end torque. If the gain is anything like what I experienced in my car I estimate that the added air flow will at least negate the load created by the hitch, rack and bikes.
Who would have thought an air filter could make such a big difference?
Thanks again!

Dear K&N,
I purchased one of these excellent filters from a local speed shop (unlimited motosports) in June of 2003.
I own a 1988 Ford F-150, 2-wd with a 4.9L 300c.i. inline six. It has a 4 speed with overdrive manual transmission with electronic fuel injection.
It only took about 2 hours from start to finish to install. I previously got 14 mpg, now with the K&N I get about 17 on the highway.
This original Inline 6 has over 300,000 miles with no problems at all with the engine.
When I rev. the engine to about 3,400RPM the intake makes an awesome rumble sound under the hood and acceleration is amazing. I can easily out accelerate my friends 91 Chevy shotbed pickup with a 305 HO V8.
The filter isn't the only mod, but it is a great start. As of today 1/8/05 I have cleaned the filter 2 or 3 times because of the very dusty conditions
I drive in. It didn't really need it, but I did it with the tune-up and before running through inspection.
Thanks for your great product.

K&N:
I would like to say first and foremost that you offer some top notch products.
I have been running your oil filter ever since I bought my 98 Jeep Wrangler 2 years ago.
I recently purchased a conical style filter along with a tube adapter for the air intake system on my 4.0L I6 engine (242
ci). The first thing I noticed was the increased throttle response, especially at the first touch of the pedal.
The overall power increase is amazing, and it feels like my engine can breath again compared to its old restrictive air box.
I also noticed a massive increase when going up hills, not only does the Jeep maintain speed with my 33 inch tires howling down the road, but when I step on it...it does not hesitate!
Thank you once again from a loyal consumer.

I have an Econoline 150 van, with a K&N air and oil filter on.
The van is a 300 ci in line 6-cylinder engine, which stock runs around 14 mpg.
With these upgrades I am able to achieve 30 mpg at 55 mph or 22 mpg at highway speeds of 65-70 mph. The overall engine performance is
phenomenal, excellent throttle response and an added (at least) 20 horsepower altogether.
Torque has also improved tremendously over the OEM equipment. The most noticeable difference is climbing the steep
hills around Lake Michigan, before the "dog" would struggle up, you could tell there was an airflow issue.
After I installed the air filter, she powers right up those hills without missing a beat.
I couldn't imagine running without these excellent products. My active lifestyle
demands performance with frequent 1000+ miles trips, including those to the deserts of Nevada and New Mexico.
Thanks K&N!

I just wanted to let you know that I had purchased the cold air induction system for my Tahoe and was very pleased with the performance increase that I gained from applying your system.
I've bragged enough that my father purchased one for his 97 Ford F-2450 that had "lost it's spunk."

I installed an air filter in my 1989 Grand Wagoneer (Jeep/5.9L V8) it made a HUGE difference.
The engine idles smoothly and starts immediately.
I installed an air induction kit on my 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland (4.7 HO V8).
It was already a very responsive engine, but now it is monster (in a good way).
