PLEATING

All of K&N's air filter media is pleated from high-quality raw materials. Premium cotton gauze and epoxy coated screen mesh are fed through fully automated pleating machines that were designed and built on site at K&N. Every air filter is molded around a pleat pack with a specific pleat height, width, depth, and number of cotton layers designed to maximize performance and protection.
